In-Line Spark Trap
Nordfab Ducting has added an in-line spark trap to its Quick-Fit™ ducting product line. When installed in a dust collection system, the Nordfab In-line Spark Trap helps reduce the possibility of fire in cyclones / collectors by decreasing the number of sparks which reach these units through the ductwork.
Quick-Fit clamp-together ducting eliminates rivets, screws, and welding, significantly reducing the time required to install or replace ducting as well as ducting-related downtime. The Nordfab In-line Spark Trap can quickly and easily be mounted into Quick-Fit ducting systems, or other duct systems with use of a Nordfab adapter, and can easily be removed for cleanout. No calibration or other assistance from a factory technician is required.
The Spark Trap has no moving parts and pressure loss is minimal.
